People with ALLERGIES to shell fish are quite likely to be allergic to hard Insect shells. Mixing pieces of shell fish and insects in all of our food products is NOT A WISE MOVE.
I am still learning and researching. I am still speaking out. I am non-complying to things that are not good for me. We all need natural food and less government intervention that stops food protection. Agenda 2030 is an enemy of the people.
We’re in a senior gated community and they’re culling the classics, I found their throw away books and I repurpose them to free give aways at my yard sale or donate to the Goodwill centres. They are not so political CORRECT!
Our son kept rabbits in the basement, did 100% of their care and feeding, then slaughtered and skinned them and put them in the fridge and freezer. That was at age 12. Now he is teaching our grandsons to bow hunt.... Self reliance is the antidote to industrial dependency.
My mother hunted partridge in the fall and was a good shot. I used to catch and skin fish but that's easy we always drove around with the hunting riffle in the back of the truck. For partridge. Not now. Trudeau eliminates this possibility.
I grew up with liver dinners once a week in a European household. Liver with fried onions, mashed potatoes, and butter carrots yum! My mom cooked it like a steak in a hot frypan 3 minutes a side so it was never tough or chewy or overdone. I cooked it for my kids until they got older and didn’t “like” it anymore.
Shopped today at Costco and noticed marked increase in prices across the board and the additional carbon tax hasn’t even been added yet… Yikes! We’ll starve cause we can’t afford to buy groceries!!!
I only buy sale items now. Not because that is my means,. I take my oldest son and teach him buying decisions. He is liking that a lot.I don't know what his world will be like. The window of expectation that they will enjoy what we have has dimmed. So we do buy the 16 lb rice for 20. We do buy the flour when the huge size is $12. I cook from scratch every day. Pancakes in the am. Very cheap healthy carbs. I get to add flax and fruit. Compared to bread. Full fat yogurt instead of butter fried in the bacon fat. Onions fried in bacon fat. We are a family of 6. I learned to make jam this year and made a ton. I have a closet full.
It was intimidating. I make it with apples instead of pectin. I am not necessarily natural at this. But I wanted to give the kids ideas and skills on preserving food. We dry apples and tomatoes in the fall. We made sauce this year. I pickled red peppers. For years I was single and cooking for one, then two. Just focused on career. But I had 4 children in quick succession. I'm not going to say running a big family is natural or easy.
But this past year I transitioned from thinking school, where I excelled was a secure path for future success. I garden now, for them, again not so great at it. But I teach them to save seeds etc. I learned how to cook dandelions, make flower jelly, which weeds are as delicious as spinach. Seriously eat them all spring and summer. This i thought I would just teach the kids. I add a new foraging item as I have confidence on identification and use etc. Some are great for juicing, others wilted, others straight in a salad. If they don’t need it, great. Mom got weird hobbies they will think. I made the decision to home school. 4 kids. So again rising to the challenges of our world. I came from four Gen of school teachers. My great grandfather started the first French school in our area of Northern Ontario. As the French had no options. My grandmother taught there, ran a farm and gas station with the kids, while her husband was a bucheron in the north. My mom English not French went north to teach. I trusted schools, until abruptly I did not. But I think of all the extra time I give the children . Who knows. I am very imperfect short on time and trying.
That is so much you have given up Lisa on all levels, everything you have removed from focus on self to focus on the wellbeing of your family and children both physically and mentally and emotionally. I am sure they will appreciate the sacrifices you are making once they’re older and better able to understand but as you say the world is changing so fast and not in a good way that whatever you can teach them now will be invaluable in their future. Teaching them how to fish for themselves versus just fishing for them is the very best thing you can do for them right now.
I imagine having a career is very satisfying and fulfilling both financially and on a personal level as well it feeds the ego where raising a family is unpaid and a lot of hard work with very different rewards in that you are helping to form the next generation and teaching them skills they’ll need for life and investing your time in them versus an employer and a paycheque.
Homeschooling is a lot… I did it for my three for a few years in the primary grades as well as activities like ice skating and putting on plays and such with other homeschooling families but now it feels much more urgent to homeschool with the indoctrination taking place in our schools and the three R’s no longer considered important!
Let alone making everything they eat healthy and from scratch!!! Dandelions are excellent for boosting immune system and preventing cancer.
I admire your strength of conviction and commitment to doing all you can to inform/warn people and to encourage action in response as well as for all you are doing to aid your children and for being a protective Mama Bear. You have earned my full respect and I wish nothing but the best for you and yours but we need to prepare for the worst and become more self sufficient as you are teaching both yourself and your children to be.❤️
I wonder what the affect on humans it would be at the microbial level? We may need to change things but will bugs meet human nutritional needs? But what does it really matter, these Davos people will still be eating a normal human diet while we slaves eat bugs. The ones left alive will be.

Did not know this
Chitin, contained in the exoskeletons, is inflammatory and allergenic. It's an immune suppressant too!
They want a sick underclass don't they
We don't get sick as easy as they want us too, they're behind schedule. We're harder to kill than they thought. Stay strong my friends!
Just a little bit...ha
The good thing about a sick underclass is that they're the market for pharma for a long time, and then they die. So win-win!

Cooking from scratch in the short term avoids these products.

It us hard to find them. Apparently searching for them online is an indication of an extremist in the UK
Our priest said that people in UK can be jailed if caught praying silently,
He said we should all join him as arresting say 5000 is more challenging for them than just arresting one.
The more powerful groups are pushing their evils on us.
We can be powerful in nonaggression ways!
Yes the notion is censorship zones. As these widen they become the means to deny free speech by geography

Surreal times. Trudeau is a tool...
;)
Humans can not eat bugs and my granddaughter has a huge allergy to shellfish so her eating a bug would likely kill her.
Charlotte's Web, epic book
