I do recall seeing a list of cities in Canada who WON THE 15 minute city race!!

Apparently many cities in Ontario applied!

In this report there was a list of cities across our Nation who were trying to win the support to become one of these cities.

I’m not sure what the City requirements were.

But it’s scary to find out that our local government is this pathetically ignorant of what’s in store.

You may want to see what influence the Cincinnati OKI (Ohio • Kentucky • Indiana) MPO (Metropolitan Planning Organization) had in the city's adoption of the insane climate goals. It is also home to Miami of Ohio University, which probably had influence in this adoption, too!

This is the absolute opposite of where we should go. We need to stand firm and openly denounce the UNs 2030 'sustainable' development goals!

This is at the local level. We can't defer our power to wait for solution to comr from fed. If anything your province or state. But absolutely the poison has to come put at the city level

There you have it! "Canada's Conservative Party, led by Pierre Poilievre, has expressed skepticism towards initiatives like the C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group. The C40 Cities initiative focuses on tackling climate change through urban policies and actions, which often involve significant regulations and changes to urban infrastructure.

"The Conservatives generally advocate for a more balanced approach to environmental policies, emphasizing economic growth and individual freedoms. They tend to prioritize policies that support traditional industries and reduce regulatory burdens, which can sometimes conflict with the ambitious climate goals set by groups like C40[1](https://thehub.ca/2025/01/11/need-to-know-what-is-the-future-of-canadian-conservatism/).ives?"
