Yes, I get it. I read - reread 1984 several months ago and at that time realized the parallels to our society today. The disparity was the big screens in the book contrasted with the small screens on everyone's phones that seem to be so irrestible to so many people.
It used to be required reading in schools "back in the day." Now it's being/been banned in schools and libraries, and many "files" or downloads of it on the wayback machine have also been removed.

People online at a site constantly belittle me into a schizzo like persona. Which is odd they're supposedly mostly Republican along with a few Democrats and although I've sat back and watched them make statements without me at all that are similar to mine I get ostracized for ass hats. Republican should know better and know what to support and not make asinine statements on freedom and liberty but they do... Democrats it's expected for they're bat shit crazy anyhow. Freedom to them means not having to think. Having Govt to it all for them and no common sense or decency. Republicans at least form what I've seen Freedom to them is everyone in jail they don't like. Only support the bill of rights as long as it's not a law. Once it's a law obey at all costs no fighting no standing up for yourself. If told to hands up you do it immediately and even that does have wisdom, and one should that didn't stop the assault by a cop nor did it stop the abuse they did. Nor does taking them to court later that's just pussy whipped to me sorry.
But yeah I too probably would I had to once and they were giving me so many different commands it was hard to know wtf to do and not get shot sons of bitches. Luckily I did OK enough to not get shot and then had the case later dismissed. I was charged originally with alluding but since i was only going 35 at the time my lawyer was able to get it dismissed... but it was scary as hell having cops aim a god damn shot gun at ya... But yeah we are living 1984 and aren't supposed to be!
