What a beautiful idea! We shouldn’t give into despair, that means they have won! The more we greet others with a smile on our face and love in our hearts the more wonderful this world becomes! We had a neighbour who was principal at a nearby school, she had a smile and a heart for everyone as big as outdoors. When people are searching for happiness, it’s what we give out to others in thoughts words and deeds that comes back to us! Thank you Lisa for all you do for others! May you be blessed! As a side note my neighbour read Max Lucado, who has such uplifting books about how to greet others with love!
Obama ruined the word Hope for me. All I can hear is Hope and Change. He was and I believe still instrumental in the destruction we are experiencing. Everyday I release despair, it’s always sitting on the fringes of my thoughts, the future for myself and family in this upside down world. I like your plan to consciously relate it to Lent though and totally agree.
Ok. I will give up my grump and greet every day and every person with a big smile. I have so much hope because the more we resist, the crazier they get, and more people get that they are crazy.
I wondered about Lent when I was younger. I was raised Catholic. As an adult, I see it as an opportunity to be a better follower of God's word. To put it simply, what can I do to make this world a better place. As we all are realizing, there are so many things that are intentionally taking us away from the good in this world.
Thanks for the encouragement. When I was 8, I lived through the Cuban Missile Crisis; my mom was very political [was a GOP precinct chairwoman]. I heard a lot of things I shouldn't have. I prayed (even though I had not received Jesus yet) that I wouldn't end up an orphan. Mom neglected to tell me when it was "over." Can't blame her really. So, now... I'm able to push things aside for the most part and trust that God is in control.

I did a piece that involved Satanism and the guy who designed the poster. It floored me.
I’ll look it up

Just nut bars on the other side. They want us tribal in striated divisions. Love thy brother. Because its an expensive force.
