Who is funding this research and what are their motives? Should this research be known to the public? What should happen if research is being done in facilities that do not meet the safety precautions like the type and level of laboratory? What happens when safety procedures are not being followed? Should government, military and universities work together to do research? Should gain of function be allowed to happen? What should the consequences be for weaponizing a virus?
