Happy Canada all of you. Lisa, I want to thank-you for your awesome posts. As it is Canada Day, 🇨🇦 let us all be a little kinder to each other. Together, we stand as a strong and free nation. Yes, as a collective we have the power to do that. We can stand for a nation glorious and free.
We are a country of a diverse ecosystem. We have an array of wildlife and flora. We have forests, fields, mountains, valleys, and beaches. We are a country of metropolitan cities, beautiful towns and vast agriculture.
We should not be a country of limited speech and a distain for independent journalism. We should not be a country influenced or bought by the CCP. We need policies that are by Canadians for Canadians. We do not need policies and legislation assembled through guidelines by the United Nations, the World Economic Forum, the World Health Organization, or the International Monetary Fund. We need politicians that align with values and traditions that are Canadian and not against them.
On this Canada Day, think of what Canada means to you. I think everything should stand for that because our rights and freedoms are worth fighting for. It is the people that need to protect them. Our current political system no longer works for us.
As I think of this, I will be listening to my favorite Canadian music.
I knew u would like it. , Happy Canada D(hey)ay Lisa . Rolling thunder and nasty showers atm but i can hear some courageous one outside with music having fun hahahaha 🕊️
I lived both in Alberta and Quebec (or one block from the interprovincial bridge in Ottawa; also lived in BC) for many, many years, and also worked in Place du Portage in Hull (Gatineau)
