I so needed this message Lisa, deep thanks to you from me., a child of Canadian parents living in Oregon. Funny, I thought of the phrase yesterday 'you can build it but they might not come' as in 'what if you threw a pandemic and nobody came?'........I had been looking at the large number of apartment buildings going up here in Portland, and wondering who will be able to afford to live in them? And how the building owners can, by evil deals, make more money on unrented space than rented, they have no incentive to make the units filled or affordable. Most are empty & will remain so.
Of all the ways to win, and there are many, laughing at them emboldens others and might be the most needed. A friend from Slovakia who lived through a repressive regime, said it won the most followers. Sending you smiles to shoulder through,
