Regulate every single financial transaction that occurs through Central Bank Digital Currency?

Why is China interested in CBDC. Well it works with the social credit score. But what about Canada or the US? Are we in for a social credit score if we adopt this?

Ask yourself this: Do you create a Ferrari to drive it like a public transit bus? Anyone who follows how PR firms govern how you are nudged into your beliefs should know that there WILL BE some really good 'reasons' for adopting CBDC. Ready for it. Are you?

If CBDC has the ability to be programmed to be spent within a certain amount of time; will it? Never happen. that would be like introducing something you need to take every three months baby. For the rest of your life.

If it can be programmed to be used on permitted goods/services; will it be so abused; Never happen. that would be like closing down some businesses and allowing others to stay open, in an arbitrary fashion allowing a windfall for one and complete failure for the other.

if it can be programmed to be used in a geographical area, will that happen; never happen. That would like being restricted from travel for proof of something that is immaterial to the cause of having that something.

if it can be programmed to disappear when you [insert issue]? Never happen. That would be like seizing bank accounts for donating to the Truckers, a cause that challenged government policies. (oh all that hand tipping?)

if it can be programmed to require a [condition precedent] for activation, will it? Never happen. that would be like having to have a medical treatment to keep a job that also provides you money, or enter an otherwise legal establishment.

But clearly: they'll have those and other Ferrari abilities and drive it like a traditional combustion engine bus in need of service. Because when given the opportunity human nature is to ALWAYS be altruistic. And when given ultimate power over even a computer operating system, you never need any checks or balances.

All the checks in balance will be irretrievably one way.

But it needs YOUR submission to work YOUR cooperation. So don't give it. Starting now go to the bank. Take out cash for your transaction this week. Stop the tap. Stop the app. You don't get your points.

Think of the points as the incentives to give up your freedom.

The next incentive I imagine is this: adopt the CBDC and we will bonus UP your money. So get paid x amount or if you take it in CBDC you get x plus Y.

Y being the price on your grandchildren's future. It might be unbearable attractive in this economy but remember what they are asking for.

Also will it come direct from Central Bank and by pass the traditional banks. Some know more than I on this point.
