Prime Minister announces LSI spinoff to receive funding to develop an RNA Vaccine for COVID-19
October 26, 2020
Canada’s Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, announced October 23 that Precision NanoSystems (PNI) will receive $18.2 Million from the Government of Canada to Develop an RNA Vaccine for COVID-19.
PNI, which specializes in self-amplifying mRNA vectors, lipid-based drug delivery systems and nanomedicine manufacturing, will use the investment to advance a best-in-class, made-in-Canada vaccine.
“An effective vaccine will be critical as we work to contain the COVID-19 virus and prevent future infections. Today’s contribution will support PNI to advance the development of a mRNA vaccine candidate through pre-clinical studies and clinical trials to help protect Canadians,” stated the Honorable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry, in an announcement on Oct. 26, 2020.
Funding for the initiative is provided under the Innovation, Science and Economic Development’s (ISED) Strategic Innovation Fund (SIF). The SIF focuses on supporting private sector-led vaccine and therapy clinical trials.
PNI, a global leader in technologies and solutions in genetic medicine, provides over 250 industry and academic partners with solutions for the development of vaccines, gene therapies, and cell therapies, in the areas of infectious diseases, oncology and rare diseases. The company was co-founded 10 years ago by former LSI Director Dr. Pieter Cullis, along with Dr. Euan Ramsay and Dr. James Taylor.
Bringing together its proprietary technology platforms, key partnerships and unparalleled expertise in nanomedicines, PNI is excited to be leading the development of a made-in-Canada COVID vaccine. “Since its inception PNI has executed on its mission to accelerate the creation of transformative medicines,” said CEO James Taylor. “It is an honor to be supported by the Canadian government in this global fight against COVID-19 and to further build capabilities for rapid response against COVID-19 and future pandemics.”

So NAVDEEP BAINS during the pandemic years is the Minister of Science and Industry. In addition to the Brampton Land corruption scandal he seems to be accused of doing deals with companies linked to the CCP.
Bains is also accused by Canadian civil society groups of favouring certain telecom groups while serving as a minister. He is facing allegations of favouring the telecom companies to hike internet prices. Bains is also accused of siding with the big telecom companies on their appeal to the lowered wholesale rates.
During his tenure as a minister in Trudeau’s government, Navdeep Bains had given the green signal to multiple Chinese companies with a dark track record and connections to the CCP, without proper national security review. Bains is also believed to be providing back support before allowing Chinese telecom giant Hytera to enter Canada without a proper national security review as well.
Furthermore, the Canadian leader has also been allegedly involved in corruption in the procurement of public goods. Bains is accused in a public procurement irregularity worth $200 million. Bains is facing charges of providing the tender to a company that did not have a manufacturing facility at all.
reet’s hottest hires are former politicians. The latest, Navdeep Bains, is joining CIBC
So Bains allows CCP Hytera to enter Canada. Meanwhile the FBI is opening files on this company and Motorola has sued them for conspiring to steal technology.
“A blacklisted Chinese Communist Party-linked telecommunications company tried to steal walkie-talkie technology from Motorola, according to a newly unsealed indictment.
The Justice Department said China-based Hytera Communications Corp. was charged with conspiracy to commit theft of trade secrets for allegedly conspiring with former employees of Motorola to steal digital mobile radio technology.”
Federal prosecutors claim Hytera recruited and hired Motorola employees, then had them steal trade secrets from the Chicago-based company. Some of the Motorola employees accessed the trade secret information from Motorola’s internal database and sent multiple emails describing their plans to use the technology at Hytera, prosecutors said.
The 28-page indictment is partially redacted, with sections related to the names and identities of the defendants blacked out. It appears that it was filed under seal in May 2021.
WRAY SAYS THREAT POSED BY CHINA IS 'MORE DAMAGING THAN EVER BEFORE'
The Federal Communications Commission’s Public Safety and Homeland Security Bureau previously determined last March that five Chinese telecommunications companies, including Hytera as well as the more well-known Huawei, “pose an unacceptable risk to U.S. national security or the security and safety of U.S. persons.
[SO BAINS GREENLIGHTS THEM IN CANADA AND NOW HE’S SLIDING OVER TO ROGERS, He was in charge of a substantial amount of Pandemic money it seems. I’d focus my CSIS energy here. There’s already so much smoke, and liar liar pants on, there must be rhymes with ire.]
“Hytera pushed back in September by claiming that it has no ties to the Chinese Communist Party.
But lawyers for Hytera quickly noted in October that the Chinese company’s majority shareholder had agreed to sell 10% of the firm to a subsidiary of the Chinese state-owned Shenzhen Investment.
And a November report by Internet Protocol Video Market, a surveillance industry research group, said that its investigation into Hytera’s links to the CCP found that Hytera's own communications “clearly show Hytera's significant ties and that it lied to the U.S. FCC to try to stop them from banning Hytera authorizations.”
The report said that Hytera “runs an official WeChat account for its Communist Party committee” with the account name translating to “Hytera Party Member Vanguard.” Internet Protocol Video Market said Hytera’s WeChat account said the company “always adheres to the leadership of the [Communist Party of China]." The report also pointed out that Hytera held a company "commendation event" for the 100th anniversary of the CCP’s founding last summer.”
[SO BAINS IS GREENLIGHT CCP COMPANIES IN CANADA THAT ARE ACUSED IN US FEDERAL COURT OF SERIOUS CRIMES]
Motorola said in February 2020 that, in a separate case against Hytera in federal court, a jury had awarded $764.6 million to Motorola, with Motorola’s CEO saying that “the jury’s verdict validates our global litigation against Hytera by definitively affirming that stealing trade secrets and source code will not be tolerated.”
FBI Director Christopher Wray said last week that the bureau has more than 2,000 active investigations focused on the Chinese government attempting to steal U.S. information and technology, revealing the FBI is opening new China-linked counterintelligence operations every 12 hours.
"There is just no country that presents a broader threat to our ideas, our innovation, and our economic security than China,” Wray said.
SO FBI SAYS CCP IS ATTEMPTING TO STEAL US INFORMATION AND TECHNOLOGY. AND BAINS WAS WHO AGAIN? THE MINISTRY OF SCIENCE AND INDUSTRY where funds are being thrown around like crazy. If CSIS investigates are they going to be or have links to CCP companies for repayment for favour for donations? ?? well are they????
Where else is the CCP in relation to our telecommunications-oh and side bar CRTC is worried about Canadian content and the idea is that they monitor Canadians and impose viewing.
OH. NOT BIG BROTHER AT ALL! WHEN DOES MSM TIE IT IN A BOW. STOP CIRCLING THE WAGONS. LEGISLATION THAT IS BIG BROTHER WHILE CCP CONTRIBUTIONS HAVE BEEN FOUND MUST BE REPEALED. LOOKS LIKE DUCK. QUACKS LIKE A DUCK. IS PEKING DUCK
“the RCMP says it is suspending a radio communications contract with an Ontario-based company that has ties to China amid concerns of foreign interference.
Protecting the RCMP’s land-based radio communications from eavesdropping was one of the system’s purposes. The $549,637 contract was valid until March 31, 2024.
Sinclair’s parent company, Norsat International, was purchased by Hytera Communications in 2017. The Chinese government owns about 10 per cent of Hytera through an investment fund, Radio-Canada reported on Dec. 7. That firm is blacklisted over national security concerns by the United States Federal Communications Commission.”
A spokesperson for the police force confirmed to Global News late Thursday it has suspended the Oct. 2021 contract with Sinclair Technologies, which designs and manufactures communications products for radio frequency equipment, “until further notice” pending a review of installed equipment.
A statement from Cpl. Kim Chamberland said while RCMP radio communications “are protected by end-to-end encryption” and radio frequency filtration equipment “poses no security concerns” or allows access to those communications, the equipment will be reviewed “to determine if any further action is required.”
Well there you go. Just about on a silver platter.
Oh and WHERE IS HE GOING NOW? Navdeep Bains to join Rogers as chief corporate affairs officer.
NAVDEEP IS DEEP ALRIGHT.

Since the vaccine need not be safe or effective to compete, should be simple. Shove just about anything in there.
