WAKE THE WAKERS

Transformative change is not incremental. It is everywhere all at once. In this post I call wake the “wake-ers”, I ask that you create a list of local media emails; trustees; councilors; school principals, school boards; religious officials, chamber of commerce, union leaders, local businesses in your area.

Then instead of you daily perusing headlines and reading posts you pick one or more you find very informative and determinative and persuasive and you plug and play. EVERY DAY. You curate your emails once. You provide your list to other likeminded friends.

Your draft looks something like this:

I notice you aren’t covering any real data on the peer reviewed articles that should be reaching the public. I’ve included an article that discusses : X and determines Y. I’m appalled that you don’t publish real data. I’m concerned you take advertising revenue that is conflicted with publishing integrity. Otherwise why aren’t you concerned for us your readers?

I’ve copied the following MPs, Senators, local media (and you list who is on your every day email). Would you tell me when we as citizens will get from you accurate reporting on very serious concerns for our health in our community. Can you tell me when our elected representatives and schools and businesses will have information that protects the health of their workers, students, clients? Censorship and a compromised press is indicative of a country that protects the Rule of Law.

I’m keeping all my emails to you. This creates a record and not one you should be proud of. I would like my politicians to likewise be debating this. Your silence is uglier still as it reeks of complicity.

Your family isn’t receptive? Well hey, wait until they get information from other people’s family members. It lets them the know the middle of the pack has moved. We are a tribe that is motivated, beautiful. We believe in OUR WORLD. We act to protect it. We aren’t stunted by their attacks. We MOVE FORWARD. In Unity. We are literally Goodness on the March. We are undaunted. Think of just how many sabers of truth we could be if you make this viral. Some of the substakers you read have thousands of readers. Imagine all these readers activating with this one action.

Your draft is ready; and then you let it rip. WAKE THE WAKERS YOU beautiful amazing. It’s great to be alive and have a mind that BELIEVES AND WORKS at changing THIS WORLD.
