Structural Equation Modeling Approach: Modeling the Impact of Social Marketing Programs on Combating Female Genital Mutilation in the Sudanese Society

Abstract:

“Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) and other similar traditional cultural practices pose a significant problem for Sudanese society. Such actions are severe and seriously detrimental to people's health since they are based on false social perceptions. To address these problems, numerous institutions and organizations were compelled to act rapidly. Female circumcision, or FGM, is one of the riskiest practices. It is referred to as the excision of the genitalia. Any surgeries involving the total or partial removal of the external female genitalia for non-medical reasons fall under this category. The results of FGM can vary depending on the kind and degree of the operation.

These can be categorized as short-term, mid-term, or long-term issues. Infections, including the Human, blood, discomfort, and difficulty urinating are the immediate effects. FGM is defined by the World Health Organization (WHO) as practices that purposefully damage or modify female genital organs for non-medical purposes. It often takes place between the ages of one and fifteen. The girl's right to decide on important choices affecting her sexual and reproductive health is violated because the act is usually performed without her consent and frequently against her will. UNICEF, the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund, aggressively combats the issue of FGM in Sudan. Numerous programs were started by NGOs to stop the practice.

(LL where there is a system of profit that is not addressed or fully disclosed, and all those who are able to advise on the care must affirm, it sets up a system that colludes with the profit centre and also only produces one result. If pharma is also placing or promoting or even rewarding affirmation rates the way they reward prescription rates in a geographical zone, there can be over collection. Trust will then be placed in the adult, who is compromised and does not disclose their conflict of interest to the child, who is already in a fiduciary relationship with the school adult. This over-collection into a pharma-industrial complex is a centre piece of the failure to protect children, from over-zealous maybe even well-meaning activists, but also from the scalpel of profit. In Canada any medical professional who does not affirm can be jailed along with a Parent. So even criminal justice systems are colluding with the profit scalpel. How we treat the most vulnerable in our society is a measure of that society. Are trans youth vulnerable because of activism in the schools, because of a criminal system that blind sights their families, because of the failure to name the 3 billion dollar industry. Planned Parenthood access schools for this purpose. Planned Parenthood may bill their work as reproductive Health, but it also lines up with measures that reduce population. Sterilization fits that bill. The failure to name the parts is a collusion of the industry. The narrative is billed that any discussion means ‘trans people don’t exist’. Perhaps the more accurate version would be to say trans children deserve proper medical care that includes unbiased professionals not afraid of being cancelled to provide children the full and accurate information; that parents and medical professionals who question should not be jailed, and the system shouldn’t presume a result. Last should activists gain access to children while these are in school. Children are vulnerable and are owed fiduciary duties by all those in positions of power ((note this a legal argument)) are attempting to get an education. It is reasonable to wonder if the education system is being perverted to gain customers for a pharma system. Where else is the money just so good.)

“To our knowledge, no scientific study has been conducted to evaluate the effects of such social marketing techniques on simulating and comprehending society’s feelings surrounding FGM. This study proposes the development of a structural equation model aiming to determine the impact of awareness programs on people’s intentions to adopt the behavior of abandoning FGM based on theoretical models of behavior change. The model incorporates all the relevant factors that contribute to FGM and possible strategic actions to tackle this problem.

The theoretical backdrop for FGM is presented in the next section, which also explains the practice's history, justifications, and potential treatments. The methodology section that follows describes the structural equation model. The proposed model, which compiles all the pertinent elements into a single image, is presented in the fourth part. Finally, conclusions are reached, and suggestions for further research are made.”

“Adults have the right to alter their appearance and take hormones as they choose. I only hope they completely comprehend the risks vs benefits before giving consent to any medical procedure or consuming drugs. This is one of the great freedoms our constitution protects. Freedom of choice.

Children's brains are not developed enough to make such choices as the human brain is not fully developed until their mid-twenties. That is why they are the ward of their parents or guardians (don't allow the schools or the State to be the ward of your child). Obviously, the enormity of this subject is overwhelming, so in this video I discuss the medical aspect of hormone blockers and mutilating surgeries for children. First and foremost they can cause grave harm and are not reversible, period. Not just physically but also psychologically. If anyone says otherwise, they are lying. All that these horrific actions accomplish is making the child a lifelong patient. They do not provide a lifetime of bliss (as many children are deceived into believing) and can increase their risk of suicide. “In my opinion, it is unconscionable, disgraceful and a violation of their oath to "DO NO HARM" for any doctor to subject a child to false hope of guaranteed happiness (endless happiness is unattainable for anyone) through 'gender affirming care'. Shame on any adult who leads them to the doorway of these disgraceful doctors. It is hard for me to even refer to them as doctors.

If a child is struggling which many are, particularly during their teens (changing hormones during puberty naturally causes negative emotions) and especially following their experiences of the past few years. An alarming number of children admit throughout our country have contemplated suicide, too many have. Kids at risk do not need any more obstacles or confusion that may add to their anxiety, self-loathing, awkwardness, or self-doubt.”

It is also our duty to help them realize their full potential and expose them to opportunities that broaden their paths to success and good health on their journey to discovering their purpose in life.

We also should teach them to identify potential predators who are seeking to harm them, oppress their potential and diminish their opportunities in life in order to satisfy their goals. Please warn your children and educate them on actions and steps they can take to avoid and expose those, no matter who they are, who have lost their moral compass. Educate them and encourage them to exercise their first amendment right to speak out when they know instinctively/morally something is wrong, regardless of what they are being told. They should be aware that exercising this protected right takes courage and is the only thing that creates positive change and guarantees their continued right to freedom.”

“Eighteen years for a child to be allowed the grace of being a child is not too much to ask. Whatever their realizations are once they become an adult can be explored at that time, then informed choices can be made. Until then, some kids may feel uncomfortable or confused but the safety and well-being of the majority take precedence. I am sure most of you would agree being a kid wasn't easy (being an adult isn't easy) and feel fortunate that many of the decisions we wanted to make for ourselves back then were derailed by our parents and/or a caring adult.

If Public Sector unions are the reason schools are danger zones for intact genitals, should this be a violation of their codes of ethics, their roles as fiduciaries? Should unions have a large liability? Should a class action suit be commenced?

Where government dialogue, and union dialogue morphs to the power structure who is left to watch out for Trans-youth. The path ways goes from pronouns to referrals to injections without parental knowledge to surgeries, with unabated zeal. No medical professional is permitted to not affirm in Canada. True dysphoria will not be resolved by puberty and then medical care while an adult can take place. Many studies show that those children grow up to be gay adults and live normal lives within their gender. Are we castrating gay boys and sterilizing gay girls. I think kids should grow up without a system that hunts them for profit, or for population adjustments. Activism hides the profit in the system by not allowing it to be discussed.

Framing concerns as violation of the bullying policy abuses the purposes of human rights legislation.

Compassion is owed to all children and that includes the protection of their innocence. It is so fleeting, and life has so many hardships already. What do you think? is the activism a profit centre for pharma and planned parenthood, is it well meaning good guys who are using schools for political purposes.

Now that parents are unable to discuss at school boards without being ‘in violation’ of policies that protect trans employees and children ‘from bullying’, will we ever get to the bottom of it.

Likely if someone sues the unions in the biggest badest class action, disclosure will fly. Decertification for mass violation of their fiduciary duties towards children. The human rights system that has been morphed to align with a profit centres. Well that I haven’t noodled. The criminal code provisions that prevent protection of children and set up a system in conflict with the duty to do no harm, and requires violation of fiduciary duty and the Rule of Law- it seems that could be struck.
