Please dig into your area and consider whether or not you want to use the below presentations as guides and help for addressing your councils CLIMATE CHANGE OFFICIAL PLAN. LINK in the comments your climate change official plans, or those in your area. Get involved in Canada with Action4Canada (all you need is a postal code. they are Christian. they may pray for you if you ask them.) or look at their resources for a similar type of grass roots organization in your area, or faith. If you are retired: WOOT WOOT. YOU FOUND YOURSELF A MEANING IN YOUR DAY. they are working on the issues that matter to you. Dig in.

I want you to see just how resourceful some of the citizens of Ottawa were and how bang up great their presentations were. each presentation is only 5 minutes. The science in each can be copied for challenging at your councils anywhere. Listen and copy and use to address in your area your city’ Climate Plan. Cities post but do not advertise their citizenship engagement. So search and arm yourself with information in these videos and go forth and participate with a few like-minded friends. “Citizens challenge Ottawa’s climate and energy plans at Environment and Climate Change Committee hearing

On April 18, 2023, the 3rd meeting (since the election) of the City of Ottawa’s Environment and Climate Change Committee was held at City Hall. In the delegation period following the Annual Status Update of the Climate Change Master Plan, five members of the public presented testimonies that highlighted some of the many problems with the city’s climate and energy plans. Those “delegations” that opposed or questioned the plans are listed below, in chronological order.

Delegation #1 by Tom Harris, Ottawa resident and Executive Director, International Climate Science Coalition - Canada

He concluded: “As the seventh coldest capital city in the world, it is irresponsible for Ottawa to only prepare for warming when cooling is far more dangerous and, some scientists say, more likely. It would be like going camping in an area known to be infested with black bears and mosquitos and only planning for the mosquitos. Yes, the bugs can drive you crazy, but the bears can kill you. Similarly, heat in Ottawa is not fatal except for the elderly and other vulnerable citizens, people we need to protect. But everyone can die when it is -30 with no heat.”

“Consequently, I ask the committee to direct city staff to incorporate preparation for cooling into the Climate Change Master Plan.”

Delegation #2: Robert Lyman, Ottawa-based energy policy consultant and Principal at ENTRANS Policy Research Group, Inc.

He concluded, “Reducing emissions in Canada will have essentially zero effect in terms of temperature and climate… So you have a 52 to 57 billion dollar expenditure [for the City of Ottawa’s climate plan] and you have zero environmental benefits. That won’t pass any kind of a cost/benefit test in any government in the world.”

Delegation #3: Nigel Ellis, Ottawa resident and former project manager and VP of Research and Development for healthcare software products

He said, “…Ottawa’s almost $60 billion plan, if successfully implemented would result by 2100 in about one-ten-thousandths of a degree global temperature change. This is smaller by at least two orders of magnitude from what can even be measured.

“My conclusion is that Ottawa’s Climate Change Master Plan has no perceived benefit and will be a massive fiscal sink hole. So, my main questions is: ‘when the key countries of the world are not reducing CO2 emissions at all and Ottawa’s Plan doesn’t change the global numbers at all, why are you expecting us to pay an additional tens of billions of dollars for no benefit?”

Delegation #4: Karen Bourdeau, Ottawa resident and retired teacher

Ms. Bourdeau told the committee: “As an educator, I am concerned that the City of Ottawa has not done its homework before announcing its climate and energy plans. I’ve seen no evidence that even the basics have been properly covered with respect to Ottawa’s plans for prohibiting ‘automobile-oriented land uses,’ whatever that means, in the downtown core.

“…If a student were to approach me with suggestions that the class switch over to radically new ways of learning, I would ask, “Have you tried it yourself?” If their answer was no, then I would tell them to try it out and let me know how things went. Similarly, I ask this committee to do your homework before further considering compelling the whole city to radically change the way we live.”

Delegation #5: Danielle Maillot, Ottawa resident

She said, “most of the sources of power that Energy Evolution promotes, mainly sun, wind, batteries, from cradle to graveyard, are among the dirtiest and most environmentally damaging energy technologies on the planet.

“Research shows that we do a far better job protecting the environment by continuing with our reliance on fossil fuel than by making a massive transition to so-called renewable power. I ask the committee, it is still time for courageous conversation to do your due diligence and properly investigate every aspect of this question before ruining our environment with a huge expansion of wind and solar power.”

I say to you of any faith, and none at all. Scratch the surface.

We saw lockdowns, that hurt small businesses, the economy. We saw school closures hurt our children, only to have them start up and focus on the anything but math, reading and writing. You know their future is in libraries gyrating in sexually based costumes wearing women face, if the PUBLIC schools are anything to gauge by. What you celebrate in terms of children’s education, are the futures you create.

Focus on math, we will have engineers and scientists. Focus on reading, we will have literacy for any profession. Focus on the skills, we will have skilled labour for construction. Focus on faith and God you will have Hope, Love, Joy, Faith. Focus on family you will be teaching your children to create protect and love their family.

I guess sex is the next economy. The only jobs our children can expect is sex work? Which the left wants to legalize. Maybe our new CCP rulers will bring in the engineers, skilled traded and adults fluent in reading and writing. (CCP schools focus on this and disallow tiktok and gender ideology) Our kids will grow up on emojis, desperation, and the sex trade serving this ruling class?

Absurd? Well so is the new curriculum and not curriculum but the focus.

We saw mandates by reason of medical status that created economic and social apartheid, and altered our society from a rights based society to a permissive based society. If this is still something you justify as pulling your weight. Pull the weights of your blinders off svp and anytime soon.

EVEN IF YOU ARE VAX FOREVER EVERY 3 MONTHS AND YOU WANT TO EMBED A CHIP TO REMIND YOU, a permissive society that empowers a government to QR code your access to life, will be a sliding scale of tolerance. Eventually you look down and your toes are across the wrong line. Trust me. Or don’t. Trust history.

We see a government in Canada plagued with conversion to CCP policies through the bills the NDPLIBERAL asses pass and enact.

DO YOU KNOW WHAT MAKES NO SENSE. that you are able to do that in the house of commons having been elected as a minority government in the first place.

NAME ME ONE OTHER PARLIAMENT THAT COULD PASS THE NUMBER OF CONTREVERSIAL AND EGGREGIOUS BILLS, or THAT COULD SPEND INTO A DEBT TO SADDLE CANADIANS for generations, or THAT COULD INFLATE AND HURT CANADIANS and the economy TO THIS LEVEL. you wont be able to find me another Parliament in history that has done so. Show me any that has passed any Orwellian type of legislation while in Majority without a fight to the skin in parliament. SO NDP MPS want this for Canada- They must be idiots, communists, naïve AF. ditto for the Liberals. OR THEY ARE CAPTURED TO AN AGENDA TO HURT THEIR NATION.
