What I find interesting about this congressional hearing is that these doctors are saying in congress the very things doctors and other medical professionals the world over are losing their medical license for having said.
Thereby Professional Bodies are institutionalizing silence. The Professional Regulatory bodies are reflecting a power and authority used for economic and social apartheid and to enforce the transnational tropes.
Congress while it is there and looking at this should outlaw this practice. It creates the 'who can earn a living' based on agreeing with and regurgitating Power. While courts create tiny parcels of deference it links these professional bodies into the same mass of regulatory hegemony.
The trend is all regulated. All under DEI. All with court deference. You may like DEI now. It is the next iteration you may not like.
All LINKED. Preventing a professional from earning a living based on expression is the intuition of state starvation. So these bodies become units of silence, measures of censorship.
The most vile is Bill 36 in Canada. For ALL members of regulatory societies to read.
How all are collected in the regulatory regime that is being assembled around the world in the same manner. I predict these will even eclipse courts in their importance by 2025 where no firm checks are in place. Committees look at speech and thus become arbiters of truth. It is the true power no one examines
Bill 36 in BC regulates all for even those who communicate with a regulated profession are thereby regulated. ONE RING TO RULE THEM ALL. the key needs only turning. It is an assembly of a totalitarian state through our regulatory bodies. SIC.
It certainly is ill advised for society and the collective of professionals that should be acting like their own bargaining units not units of Power.

Censoring professionals such as scientists and academics have gone on for a long time. See Ben Stein's 2008 movie, "Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed." https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1091617/. I began reading about creation science in 2004 and saw this. I attend church with a woman who's in her early 80s who worked in a lab at the University of Washington (Seattle) in the 1960s. She said she and other Christians had to keep their thoughts to their selves about creation back then.
Academia was gradually taken over since the late 1800s nearly completely during the sexual/Marxist revolution of the 1960s. Now we see the fruit of this movement throughout Western civilization.
It truly is a sad state of affairs when bullying, bribery and blackmail is the standard. With no moral or ethical standards nothing is off the table including murder.
